 CAFS Environmental Committee

Environmental Policy

The Environmental Policy formalises CAFS commitment in supporting the principles of environmental sustainability and the need for all staff, clients and volunteers to share a role in achieving this objective.  

To facilitate the achievement of these overall objectives CAFS will;

  • Minimise negative impacts we may have on the environment, through efficient use of resources, and reduction in emissions and waste
  • Outline the commitment made by CAFS in reducing direct environmental impacts of its operations wherever possible
  • Establish the overall direction for improving the environmental performance of CAFS

Environmental Responsibility Committee

The purpose of the Environmental Responsibility Committee at CAFS is to implement an organisational strategic objective (innovation in the provision of services) and related strategy: to “promote environmentally friendly work practices and minimize any adverse effects on the environment.”
