Paintings, poems, drawings, photos and other artistic forms celebrating the LGBTIQ+ community will come alive through a projection art installation on the side of a two-storey building in Ballarat’s CBD in March.

Proud LGBTIQ+ ally Cafs will host Captain Moonlite Rides Again – Visual Stories of Ballarat Pride to facilitate inclusive conversations, encourage positive behavior change and bring the community together. Captain Moonlite – which will run from 5-25 March – has attracted funding from the Victorian Government’s Pride Events and Festivals Fund 2021 and the City of Ballarat.

Captain Moonlite Rides Again will include an official launch on Friday 5 March 2020 hosted by and broadcast live on Ballarats own LaNCE TV, and will also be available online for anyone to view at any time to make it as accessible as possible.

Cafs is pleased to be partnering with local LGBTIQ+ community members, artists, media agencies and organisations, historians and allies, to bring the region Captain Moonlite Rides Again.
