What is Ballarat Frolic Festival?

We are an annual, not for profit, volunteer-run festival promoting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and asexual (LGBTIQ+) regional arts and culture. This November will mark the third year of Ballarat Frolic Festival (BFF).

We envisage an inclusive Ballarat and surrounds where LGBTIQA+ people feel safe, connected, and proud; the broader community is welcoming; and our contributions to art, culture, and the community are celebrated.
