What support/equipment will Cafs provide? Cafs will, where possible, support people working from home by supplying laptops, or assisting with access via personal laptops, and/or providing mobile phones. Any other equipment is usually the responsibility of the employee. Cafs is trying to provide additional support, again where possible, in relation to monitors. Unfortunately, this will not be available to everyone due to compatibility issues and low monitor stock levels. Where Cafs is able to support staff taking monitors home: Any monitor excluding ViewSonic brands can be taken home – subject to not being required by staff still working in the office. Please ask your manager if the monitor is available. These monitors also need to be HDMI ready. If you are unsure and require clarification log a Zendesk. Do not remove docking stations, this increases the complexity of setup. Laptops can run one screen, one wired mouse and a keyboard without any setup.
