Cafs has setup a VPN solution, GlobalProtect VPN. This virtual private network (VPN) allows you to safely connect to the Cafs network when you are away from the office, over the internet by encrypting the connection from your device.
This makes your internet connections more secure and offers both privacy and anonymity online.

Cafs has implemented a VPN which has added another layer of security for remote connections to the internet, for the protection against malicious actions, malware and other cyber threats.

Unfortunately, due to increased traffic on the Telstra Mobile network during the pandemic, some of our computer programs are impacted, for example Outlook email.

If you are experiencing problems with your Telstra Mobile LTE connection, please reach out to ICT Support. We previously used the Remote Desktop to connect to the Cafs network. This is still available for those whose mobile coverage outside of the office is poor.
